My baby rag quilts have been a hot item! I've sold several and received requests for custom quilts as well. I'm working on a pile of them this week for my shop. I'll share some of my new ones soon. :)

This "Little Apples" baby quilt is my item-of-the-week on Etsy! My rag baby quilts have been selling quickly and I think it's only a matter of time before someone snatches this adorable quilt!

My item-of-the-week is an item that I offer at a reduced price and it includes free shipping. For this quilt, it's an $18 savings! The reduced price is $85 (regularly $95). And after doing some research on Etsy, very similar quilts sell for nearly $200 or more! I believe in pricing my work (artwork included) reasonably.

Angela's Expressions

So I've been experimenting with this new website. It's called CraftLaunch and it's cool because it syncs to your Etsy page. Originally I thought that you didn't need an Etsy account to purchase an item, but you still do. I did think it was convenient though because you don't have to keep track of different inventories. Anyway, I created a webpage (they do a 15 day free trial) and I might give it a try for a month to see how it goes. I often wonder how some artist's do it; having a website while selling on Ebay and other sites. It's a lot to keep up with.

I have a little announcement to make - I had my first international sale on Etsy yesterday! Okay, maybe it's not such a big deal, but I was pretty excited about it. This woman was from Canada and turns out shipping costs were not as bad as I had expected. Therefore, I am officially offering shipping to Canada on my quilted table runners and other items.

I've been working on a commissioned watercolor painting and will post that as soon as I'm finished with it.

The above photo was taken on Mackinac Island a couple summers ago. One of my favorite places! It was wonderful to be able to go and spend the day with my sister and my brothers too. I'll tell you, being able to share a birthday with your best friend is great! Makes the day even more special!
