Fabric For Sale

In an effort to downsize my home business I've listed some fabric for sale. I have over 100 bolts in my sewing room and that's just too many for my part time business. This fabric is also available in my Etsy shop, but perhaps some of you do not have Etsy. These are the fabric lines:

 Sew Cherry by Riley Blake
 Decadence by Riley Blake
Fly a Kite by Riley Blake
 Farm Fresh by Riley Blake
 Promenade by Riley Blake
 Indian Summer by Riley Blake
 Back Country by Riley Blake
Fox Trails by Riley Blake

The price for half yard bundles is $36 plus shipping (except for Fox Trails which is $45).
The price for full yard bundles is $72 plus shipping (except for Fox Trails which is $90).

I price my fabric at $9 a yard and retail is $10+. I would be willing to discount even further if someone where to purchase a substantial amount.

Let me know if you're interested and please spread the word! Email me at - angela292@hotmail.com

Have a great day and God bless!

Custom Memory Quilt

I just finished this custom memory quilt for a customer who will be giving it to her daughter as a graduation present.

This is a little bit bigger than the custom memory quilts that I have for sale on my website. This customer really wanted a lot of photos so I made her a twin size quilt with 27 photos. She sent me scans of pictures, poems, letters and story book covers.

I wish I could see the look on her face and her daughters when they see this quilt in person! It really is special to see these photos that mean so much to you, printed on fabric.

If you're interested in a custom memory quilt please visit my website or email me at: angela292@hotmail.com

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Baby Rag Quilt With Embroidery

I'm in love with this new baby quilt! I've been trying to figure out how I can work more embroidery into my quilts and this was my first creation. I combined "Farm Fresh" fabrics from Riley Blake with embroidered farm animals. I think it's just too cute. It was time consuming, I must say. Each embroidery design took about 1 hour to complete (and there are a total of 8). I have ideas for some similar baby quilts with different embroidery themes and I can't wait to get started! :)

For anyone who might be interested, this quilt is available for purchase in my Etsy shop.

Have a great day!

Bed Size Rag Quilts

I just completed my first queen size rag quilt. It's quite a jump going from little baby quilts to this big queen. It took me over 13 hours to assemble!

I have created a custom listing on Etsy for a queen size rag quilt and I will be creating listings for twin and king size as well (once I make some samples).

This particular quilt was made with fabric from the Fiona's Fancy line from Riley Blake. It's also backed with natural muslin.

I have all kinds of embroidery/quilt projects in the works too.

Have a great weekend!

Too Cute Baby Quilts

I've been hard at work the past couple days making these little baby quilts. I just love them! And if I had a baby I'd be in real trouble because I'd want to keep them all for myself. I listed 6 and here are a few-

These would make a fabulous gift if you know anyone who has a baby! You can see more in my Etsy shop.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!

Exciting Business News!

So I have some very exciting news.. I have been trying to figure out some ways in which I can expand my business and I've decided to start selling fabric on my Etsy page. Etsy not only allows us to sell handmade items, but supplies as well. I will be selling mostly pre-cut fabric from Moda and Riley Blake. This is a jelly roll (40 strips, 2 1/2 inches wide) from the Little Apples line by Moda.

This is a charm pack from the Meadow Friends line by Moda. It contains 42 5" squares.

I'm very excited about this because I've been using this fabric for years and I know how great it is. It's also fun just thinking about expanding. Some fabric just arrived this afternoon and I will get it listed on Etsy soon.

I have another addition to my business in the works that is even bigger than this! A whole lot bigger!!! I'm thrilled about it, but terrified at the same time. More details to come!

Have a great week!
